gratitude,my father

(Verse 1)

Father, I give You thanks
for waking me up
and letting me breathe Your love.
For allowing me to open my eyes
and see the sunrise.
For feeling the breeze
coming through my window.
For giving me strength to stand
and walk among the flowers in my garden.
For seeing the butterflies
rest upon every flower.

(Verse 2)

Thank You for letting me feel
the warmth of the sun,
for the rays that brighten my day.
Thank You for allowing me to hear
the sound of the rain falling upon the earth,
watering every plant that grows.
Thank You for waking me
with the songs of the birds.
I am grateful to You, Father,
for everything that exists.

(Chorus)

Gratitude, my Father,
for everything You did for me on the cross.
For every drop of Your blood
that was shed for me.
I am grateful to You, Jesus,
for preparing a place for me
in Your paradise.
For being by my side at all times,
always present in my hardest moments.
Thank You for everything,
my Father.

(Chorus)

Gratitude, my Father,
for everything You did for me on the cross.
For every drop of Your blood
that was shed for me.
I am grateful to You, Jesus,
for preparing a place for me
in Your paradise.
For being by my side at all times,
always present in my hardest moments.
Thank You for everything,
my Father.
