Coming from the back of the mountains, I watch the sunrise
Trying not to think too much about the last words that you said to me
Before our last goodbye
When I turned my head and never, never saw you again
And though you looked me in the eye
I was left eating my words
Under the morning sky
And as the day arrives I realize that I don't have much time to rest
Wonder how everytime we spend some time together it goes so fast
Leaving me with no other choice but to go on my way
I think it's time to close my eyes
And let the soft drift pull me along as my mind
Goes into the realm of the deep
Below, a whisper that lies in my soul
I guess it is trying to let you know
That I'm sorry for bringing the blues
But I must confess that I'm walking with no shoes on my feet
And all I've been wanting to do
Is to say that I am willing to go along with you
Wherever you go
At least that's what my dreams tell me so
